I thought I plop this down here and see what the community can make of it.
I'm running an XP pro box that connects to a multi-homed win2k adv. Server (native mode).
Every time I boot up, the event log (application) shows the following:
Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=DOMAIN,DC=local. The file must be present at the location <\\DOMAIN\sysvol\DOMAIN\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>. (The network path was not found. ). Group Policy processing aborted.
I've made sure the sysvol is readable, I've made sure the nic with the shares is first in the bind order, and I've even tried changing the path in the registry to COMPUTER NAME\sysvol instead of DOMAIN\sysvol. It must get it's info somwhere else, because that didn't have any effect.
Suggestions welcome.
