I dont have xp, but I installed the lq400 driver in win98 and it shows a custom setting which lets me enter and apply a form size of 1100 x 0850. I'd think the xp driver ought to have a custom setting too. The carbons would require adjusting the thickness setting on the printer.
I hope that you have already figured this out, but if you right click in the printers section and select "Server Settings", you can create a new form type (with a unique name) and just do it with letter landscape settings (11in x 8.5in) and border space to 0's. I have found that re-installing the printer seems to make the new page type available to the printer..but it has been hit and miss. Anyway, I use that meathod to create continuous sheet multi part forms work (especially since they are 8.5in x 6in).
