XP drive mappings disappear

I have XP machines. Their drive mappings are disappearing.
The ones that are mapped via script are there. The ones that are manually mapped (with the reconnect at logon checked) disappear once the user logs off and back on. I have also disabled the Fast Logon - still same problem.
Any ideas?

If you restart the computer do the drives come back?

Only the drives that are mapped via script come back. None of those that are mapped manually (i.e. by the user) come back.

Does the login script disconnect all drives before mapping the new ones? This stopps drive conflicts but would cause just what you are experiencing.

It was the scripting. There was one script that disconnected the drives. Thanks a million!
