Dear all

I've been trying to map a drive to our SCO Unix server from a Windows XP machine, but failing. I can map drives without a problem on W95/98.

I've made sure the password encryption is the same and that the username has the correct permissions, etc. However when I attempt to connect a user from the XP box an error message reads "Access is denied". (The same user can connect from a W95/98 box).

When I look at the status of visionfs for that user/PC it reads:

PC1, johnsmith, read-write: \\Server1\Common
PC2, fredbloggs, read-write: \\Server1\Common

but for the XP box status it reads

PC3, , no files open:\\Server1\Common

So there is communication between the two boxes but something's not quite right. Does anyone have any suggestions at to how to enable this??

Many thanks
