XP Computer had network connection then lost it.

I have an Acer laptop that I joined to the domain at the office last night. It could connect to the network and I was able to access the files that I needed. But today I get the following message.
"An error occurred whil reconnecting to f:\\omhw2k1\data Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use. This connection has not been restored." and I can't access anything. Can anyone help me. Thanks

net use

(Is there an assignment already for drive F ?)

If so,

net use f: /delete
