XP compatability - Impromptu 6.x, 7 (problem with chart data)

I have been able to use the compatibility feature of XP to create catalogs (and finally configure joins). I have created Impromptu reports and now would like to insert a chart frame into the report. Normally, when inserting the chart frame, the "query data" and "chart data" are reflected, however, it's not now (since upgrading to XP). Anyone know of a workaround or have suggestions? Thanks in advance....
