HP XP workstation with 4.91 SP2 client is OK and has been for about 12 months

New HP XP workstation works with both 4.91 SP2 and SP3 but it loses some of the client settings when you power cycle and sometimes at other times

Gone are The server on the initial login Advanced and click "server" and it finds it and you can then login. Also Map N: to Server1\data fails as does LPT2: to a spooled printer

Put these right and it's all OK --- unitl the next time0

I have default server set in the client params and I have tried many options setting in it All without success

Anyone any ideas??

You need to go into the client properties and into the "Location Profiles" tab.. Drill down and you'll eventually come to a page where you have server, context, etc.. That's probably where its going wrong. You need to check the box that says "Save changes on successful login" and then you should be fine.
