XP and Xircom XE2000 PCMCIA Network Adapter Troubles

I am having the worst time trying to get my 600 mhz P3 laptop to use the Xircom XE2000 network card properly. It seems that I have to reinstall the driver after every shutdown. Once I get the card up and working by un-/re-installing it works flawlessly, until I shutdown my laptop.

Has anyone had any luck in getting this card to work properly under XP? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
