Okay, I am completely clueless about this.

I had Acrobat 5.0 installed on my computer, then I upgraded to XP. Then I went to use it and distiller no longer works. The 'distiller printer' isn't showing.

So I go to reinstall and it doesn't work, I look it up and Acrobat 5.0 lacks some compatability with XP so I got the patch and installed it and I still can't turn a .doc file ot a .pdf file.

Irritated, I popped into control pannel and tried to add a printer to my computer and it would not let me. I get an "operation could not be completed" message. Microsoft's whole help-crap does absolutely nothing to help and now I'm clueless.
