XP 1.0 vs PS4

Just curious, is anyone or has anyone decided to stick with MetaFrame XP rather then going with PS3 or PS4?

After almost a year of testing PS3 and 4, I just can't help but get the feeling that there's nothing truely better about PS3 or 4 compared to XP. PSx is bigger, bulkier, and requires more management overhead... not to mention it's licensing counts even RDP connections rather then just ICA. (just doesn't seem right if ya ask me)

I'm at a point now where I have to make a decision on whether to upgrade our farm to PS4 or keep it at XP. Sure it's losing its support and what not, but it runs so solid. In the 4+ years we've been using XP, I can't think of a single time that I had problems that were caused by this particular version of MetaFrame. ??? Just wondering if anyone else has decided to stay put with XP even though they're entitled to PS4??

$$$ is keeping us at XP, plus it meets all the needs we've had. We've used it for 2.5 years, with only one problem that required support from Citrix to resolve. Not too shabby!

i have an xp farm and a ps4 farm
2 seperate farms for seperate depts

both are stable - personaly i wouldnt upgrade the xp one as it aint worth the expense

the ps4 is better for printing - in terms of session policies
the web stuff is easier to setup but does the same functions

the amount of patches for 4 is a bit annoying as well

We need a copy of the Citrix MetaFrame XP 1.0 media and they (CITRIX) will not allow us to download it (we have the older 1.8 licenses and they will migrate directly to XP 1.0) and are trying to force us to got to PS4. Anyone have a copy we could download, purchase, or .......
