What are the purposes of xntpd and xntpdc - server and client,
presumably. However, I wish to have my linux boxes
automatically synchronize to a time server on my lan so I assume
they will be clients. The xntpd start up script in inet.d (Redhat-6.2)
only runs xntpd (and ntpdate).
Also, I don't see any man pages for xntpd, xntpdc nor ntpdate
(even though all of them are installed).
And how do I know, or set, how frequently a client checks with the
server and updates?
