XMP1-SL connection with MD110.

Hello,
I have an XMP1-SL cross connector from Ericsson and I am trying to connect it through E1 to MD110 (BC13), however, its giving me an alram of "Data Link Alarm" from the MD110 side.

Can anyone advice regarding this connectivity?

Make sure one device is set up as user and the other is set up as network (upstream/downstream) and that all the other layer-2 settings agree between the devices.
