Hi,
I'm testing a script that is using xml.http. Now, I'm a real newbee in this, so forgive me if this question sounds a bit strange. I'm running iASP on Linux and Apache. As I discovered, iASP does not support xml.http. Basicly I wonder what the difference is between using asp.http and xml.http. Is the only diffence that asp.http grabs content from html pages, while xml.http can get xml content? Or can I use asp.http all the way?

And where does xmldom comes in?

I hope this question will start an interesting thread, and will resolv in a portation from the script I'm testing to the iASP portal.

xmldom can do much more than simply grab the contents of an xml file, it can also server them up, handle incoming and outgoing xml connections, etc.
I'm not on one of my computers right now, but when I get back to the laptop I will post some informational links on both subjects (xmlhttp and xmldom)
