XML Web Part Error

I'm trying to use the XML web part to display a custom XML file.

I have populated the XML Link property of the web part with the correct URL of the XML file and I have also populated the XSLT Link property accordingly.

However, the message Cannot retrieve the URL specified in the XML Link property. For more assistance, contact your site administrator. is returned.

Does anyone know or have any suggestions as to the cause ?

check what url u r giving..maybe ur giving the actual physical path..u hav to give the url corresponding to ur server address like 'http://ur server name/file name...
