Hello gurus. I have some questions on XML and XHTML. I have a web site that has approx. 6 pages of basic static content for the site. There is also a portion of the site which I was going to build with ASP and SQL Server 2000, stored procedures etc. The dynamic portion will do some pushing and pulling of data through an online purchase order interface. I keep hearing that we should "tag" the content and data in SQL Server 2000. First question is what is better for search engine placement XML or XHTML? Second is XML useful in the dynamic portion for "Tagging" the data and why? Thanks so much all.

We had looked at doing that, but we found the load on our SQL server was already so high, and our application servers were sitting there idle most of the time. So we decided to "XML-ify" our data & pages on the app servers.
