I have a map ,which gives xml output.
My xml defintion is xsd.I added all prefixes and uris necessary in the AttrList of this map.(note: my schema is referencing another schema)

I have to accept it as input for 2nd map.

xml is not validating for this map.

But if I assign schema again and delete the namespace location its validating.

I am using DataStageTx 7.5version and windows2000 o/s.

Help.

Are you using the same tree for output for map 1 and input for map 2? Turn on the input trace and see why it is not valid.

Do you have both schemas local?

Are you using the current or depricated imported to create the tree?

Are you using 7.5.0 or 7.5.1?

Hi

Yes using same tree for output of 1st map,
and input of 2nd map.

Yes schemas are local.

Using the same version to import type tree.

I am using 7.5.0.

This is the input first line at the end of it offset38 I am getting error.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

These are the invalid data we have been getting.

Data at offset 38 ('<InstClaim:Claim') is INVALID data of TYPE

Data at offset 0 ('<?xml version="1') is INVALID data of TYPE
Note:<InstClaim:Claim is starting tag for claim.
Thanks,
Please help.

Hi
Any help is appreciated,
And please let me know if u need further details.
Thanks

Are you using the current or depricated importer to create the tree?
The error shows the entire first line to be NG.
I suggest contacting IBM Support.

Looks to me like you haven't got the Decl as the first part of the Type tree. This has the Version and encodind defined.
As you fail on <InstClaim:Claim' as the first field you must just be using the Global part of the XML type tre. Make sure your starting point is Doc.
