I have a rather long form that I created in InDesign CS3. I exported it to PDF and created the form fields in Acrobat 8 Professional.
Ideally, once the form is distributed, completed, and returned, I would like to export the answers in XML format and then import them into an InDesign table that has been tagged accordingly.
I've been using the videos on Lynda.com and the help files for both InDesign and Acrobat 8. But whatever I'm doing is not working completely. Many aspects work, but I can't create the whole work flow.
My initial question: Should I tag the InDesign form before I export it to PDF? Or should I create the tags in Acrobat? I keep trying both, which is too scattered. If someone could head me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.
