Hi,
I have a field in my xml template with the following properties:
type: number
number format: #,##0.00
when i view my template in excel (2003), the field is displayed as "general" instead of "number". because of this, i can't do calculations for this field, until i change the format from "general" to "number".
what should i do so that the field should be automatically set as number?
Take note that in the same template, i also have 2 fields which are set to "numbers" and they are working properly.
I believe this isn't an issue in Excel 2007 but in prior Excel versions. Would any of you wizards have a way around this please? Much appreciated
