I have a XML documents as my database... and I am supposed to build a web application to access it... somebody told me that it has something to do with XML Query Language... the problem is... as far as I know there is no single XML Query Language... I heard about XML-QL and XQL... I just wandering which one should I use, how and where to use it ?
Let say I need it... I also still need Java servlet... which I have no idea about it... HELP !!! I am panic...

So anybody is kind enough to help me to give me the clear picture... starting with "What are the things I need"

Thanx

Tim

Start w/ some basic info, such as the size of document you are using as a database, and it's basic structure. Is it a flat file? There are many ways to access the database, ranging from the simple techniques of XSL or data islands, to the complex such as JSP. I doubt that you really want to go the JSP route since that will require a pretty fair knowledge of Java as well as a JSP server running on top of your present web server. It all really depends on how complex your database is, and how much you really want to do with it. Be glad to help, though.
