XML Parsing Error

Help!!! Using Stronghold as a Reverse Proxy and connecting to an application that uses XML/HTML. Stronghold receives the request and believes the request is for its directory giving a XML parsing error.

In the URL, there are HTML tags <> </> . If removed, the take me to the appropriate application.

This is a shot in the dark since I'm not familiar with xml parsing. Your problem sounds like the html tags are not properly escaped. Thus, they would give you the correct info when removed and give you problems when they are there (even though the syntax is correct).
