XML Parsing error when using Earthlink Total Access 2003

Our company has just started to use Earthlink Dialer Total Access 2003. All of our computers are Windows 2000 SP3 with IE6 SP1. On some computers, there is an XML parsing error when using the Earthlink Dialer to create the intial profile. I tried calling Earthlink, and they could not help. Has anyone else run into this error? It is effecting 1 out of 3 laptops.

Download and install xml parser service pack 3.0 from microsoft here is the link

download msxml3sp2Setup.exe


at the bottom of the page and that will take care of it.

I also have this problem with machines running Windows XP Pro and the TotalAccess2003 program. Earthlink's tech support told me to download and install the XML parser service pack (even though it should have been included with XP). I did that and no luck. I am still having the same problem with the XML Parsing error. Any ideas sreenivasak?

I had the same problem with one of my users. Windows 2000 SP3, but it had IE 6.0, all service packs installed. Earthlink Dialer gave an XML Parser error so I tried this install and it worked great. Go figure.
