I am having problems getting my XML to render in ie 6.
The same code works fine in ie 5 & 5.5 and as far as I am aware the settings are the same.
Can anyone shed any light on this problem.

I believe MSIE 6 uses MSXMLv4 while MSIE5.5 uses older
versions of the MSXML parser.

What difference would the parser make? Surely ie6 comes with a parser, if so does that mean that the javascript used to load an xml file is differnent?

I dunno. I think IE6 uses MSXML 3.0 SP1, because it's out now, while MSXML 4 is just in beta.

well, I'm trying to figure out myself.

personally, I have a problem that the XML file
loads properly when I do a File->Open from the browser.
But it doesn't displays the character properly
when I load it through JScript.

So, its either the parser is assuming something by
default, if not, its the way JScript handles strings.
