Can anyone advise -- that is help us settle a debate we are having? Our client wants to know -- which would be a better program for laying out a catalog with a database-generated XML import file. This is a PC only job.

Would you recommend Quark ? Or InDesign?
The catalog has images, text titles, descriptions, and a table with order no., misc data and price. In addition there are indexes.

Any recommendations or warnings? Anyone offer consulting services in this area?

I too would love to see a reply to this question, or a link that would answer it.

I am attempting to understand exactly the same thing.
