How to convert XML file into VFP table/database?

Please help. I am using VFP 6.00

Thanks
Tim

Sorry, you'll have to parse it manually as the XMLTOCURSOR( ) Function didn't show up until VFP 7.

Tim,

Although there is no native way of doing this in VFP 6.0, there are many third party parsers available, some of them for free. You could try searching the Microsoft site for the XMLDOM (or just DOM) parser.

Thank you for the star. I'm wondering if Rick's XML parser wasn't the one Microsoft used in VFP7.0. ;-)

Not directly, but theirs was definitely influenced by his work.

Thanks Dan. A little remeniscant of Mr.C. Lange's version of intellisense.

Thanks everyone for answering this. I will try VFP7.0

If it is feasable, take a slightly bigger step up to VFP 8 or even the VFP 9 beta (free usage through March 2005).
