XML Editor IE 8 not able to handle large file

I try to use XML Editor to quickly look at XML files and find that only a small part of a large file will be opened and it says it is done opening it.

Windows Task Manager shows the CPU as around 50 and memory size 171K. So it must be doing something but it just slows the system down.

Anyone know why this is?

What do you mean by large? Is it well-formed? Did you try wordpad to test the file is correct?

I did find that it did read other large files so maybe there is something about the file itself. Will need to look closer at it.

It looks fine in Textpad.

I'd try FF or Chrome
