XML dropdown query

Hi

I have coded an XSLT page to display an XML document in a simple table. I can filter this table by "select"ing certain records but is it possible to have a drop down menu showing the DIFFERENT values from one of the XML elements which, when selected will display only the relavant records.

Thanks for any help!!
