Hi all

I just recently revamped my logon script, making it more versatile so it would fit a new customers needs. This prompted one of my colleagues to suggested, that I actually wrote some documentation (shrugs) for it... well long story short, the logon script is now available on my blog with documentation as well.

So why am I posting about this here? Well I thought some of you might be interested, AND, I would love to get some feedback as well.

Key features of the logon script:

* Uses an xml file to control the actions of the logon script, making it very easy to extend and maintain.
* Control behaviour of the logon script by defining filters and actions in xml file(s). Build action sets that are selected based on one or more filter, filter by Active Directory security groups, usernames, computer names and more. Actions include ability to map network drives, add network printers, copy files and more.
* Logging direct to the executing computers Event Log.
* Friendly Internet Explorer window used to display messages to users.

Go to for more info and download link.

Please let me know what you think.

Regards, Egil.
