XML code to connect to a database

I am new to XML. but I know how it looks like.
Can someone help me in writing XML code to connect to a SQL server
database.

I know that
I need to connect to database by giving credentials and then to extract the data,.. I need to write SQL QUERY.

BUT I NEED FULL XML CODE TO CONNECT TO A DATABASE AND GET THE DATA
FROM THE DATABASE urgent PLEASE.
