Hello all,
I'm trying to use a XML file as data source and I have two problems:
1) I don't get any data at all even though I have done everything (I think) as it should be done. I made a new 'Data source (ODBC)' and used CR ODBC XML Driver 4.10. The location is a folder and the table creation is 'Data Island Format' (I have a DTD). Table Hint is INVOICES and Row Hint is './INVOICE/PRODUCT/COMMERCIAL_SERVICE/BILLING_EVENT_TYPE/BILLING_EVENT \column child'
This works fine. But I cant see any data at all in CR. I can choose the table and I see the 'columns' but they are empty?!
Any suggestions?
2) I need a more 'flexible' way of reading the XML file. For every row I would also need another child element to INVOICE -> ./INVOICE/INVOICE_HEADER \column child.
How can I do this? I read somewhere about some 'Java Data Provider', what is this? How can it be done?
Do you need more information to help me?
I use CR 9.
