XML and HTML 1

I have an xml file which holds data from a database. I would like to show this data in an HTML page (which is already created). Is is possible to import this file into an html page? I also need to present it is some sort of table format. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks.

This would probably be a perfect opportunity to use XSLT:
