XM24 on Release 7 stays lit

We recently added an XM24 to a 6424D+M hanging off of an R7 (last upgrade - i think 7.0.36) and the DSS stays lit. The buttons work fine, but they never go out. All 22 that are programmed as user work, but stay lit. I have the 115C1 power supply. All seems well.

The setup is a 500V2 with a combo card and then a DS30V2. Currently in the combo card. Anyone seen this? My next step will be to move the set up to the DS30V2 but otherwise I am lost.

I think you have missed this part:

Oh. That small detail.

Well I guess we are back to the 1416 and BM32! We started there but the sound quality killed them. The issue is that they want to see it all in front of them and press a key. The soft key phones don't really give us what we need here. For example, if they try to press a key, it changes the page in some cases and they have to tab around to find what they are looking for. Otherwise, I would do the 9508 or 5420. Actually, if I lay it out right, I may get most of it to be on the front page. For example Auto Intercom, certain speed dials, etc.

You could ty to put the phone on the DS30 but i have a slight idea that it could not make any difference.
