I regularily use the Sort function in Excel 2003 and everytime I have to click through the Sort Warning box that asks whether to sort text that looks like numbers as numbers or not. I want to sort text that looks like numbers as numbers everytime. Also, just doing "Copy -> Paste Special -> Multiply" will not work in my case because it reformats the information I'm using. I don't want that.
Is there a way to make an Excel add-on or some kind of global option macro that will auto-select "DataOption1: =xlSortTextAsNumbers" everytime I try to manually sort a table? I'm thinking of some kind of "On Sort" action, but any solution would be welcome.
Also, this does not appear to be a simple option I can choose in the Options menus.
