XLS --> XML w/ Schema( XSD)

Is there a method/tool/script/application that can convert an excel spreadsheet to an .xml file that conforms to a given schema (.xsd)?? I could save as an xml file but need the data to follow the given schema (data values must match its datatype, variable names must match, etc). I know there must be a way!

Given: sample.xls, sample.xsd
Goal: result.xml

Tools/Environment: MS-Office 2003, IIS 5/ASP, SQL 7, Notepad

Here's some code to read excel file in ASP:
