Hello,

I have a workbook that uses a macro, which opens on my machine fine. but when I open the workbook from another machine, the macro doesn't even appear. Then, when I try to add the macro it won't run. Can someone tell me what's up?

Thanks in advance,
Jean Luc

On the offending computer, go to Tools > Macro > Securityand select Medium.

Then this is set to high, Excel won't even ask if you want to enable macros - it just denies all macros.

I would advise that you never set this to low, as it will allow all macros to run without asking you, and this could enable malicious code to be launched.

Anything to do with saving the macro in your personal.xls folder instead of in the workbook?

Did either of the suggestions work for you?
