Calling all gurus - Is it possible to get control of the macro list that appears in the XL Macro Dialog when a user chooses Tools>Macro>Macros? For instance, given ten users and ten macros in a given workbook can I restrict the macro list to a set of macros available, actually visible, so that user A only sees macros 1 and 2, user B sees only macros 3 and 4? Get my drift? I'd like to be able to do something like this using XL's default Macro Dialog as opposed to creating a new menu or window in order to control which routines can be run. Can it be done??

Hi,

What you can do is create your own Menu Bar (each workbook must have a menu bar)

Your custom menu bar will not have a path to the macro list.

you will have a list for each person and when that person logs on with a password, you show him/her that list and run from their selection.

How's that sound?
