I'm plotting some logarithmic data, but for user-friendliness I want the X-axis to show actual values. So that instead of seeing values from 4.60517 to 9.21034, the User will see a logarithmic scale from 100 to 10,000.
I'm using Tushar Mehta's flexible log scale method, but how can I determine how many periods (decades) need to be shown on the scale?
If my original data go from 30 to 2500, I'll need X-axis scale ticks at 10, 100, 1000 and 10000 to include all the data points. But if the data go from 102 to 1200, I'll only needs ticks at 100, 1000 and 10000.
Anyone know how this can be done?
P.S. Selecting "logarithmic" on the Scale tab won't work, obviously, because I'm plotting the actual log values against each other, so I can use a Linear Trendline and regression.
