Hi,

My mouse cursor has got a mind of its own in XL2K3!

Sometimes its a black right arrow, next time it's a Text insertion "I", then a "10 to 11" arrow, with or without the movement arrows - it's driving me KNUTZ [hairpull]

What have I selected to make it do this?

Chris

Someday I'll know what I'm donig...damn!

Did you install an Excel add-in? If not, try updating/re-installing muse driver.

If that doesn't fix it, try running Repair under Help

Canadian eh! Check out the new social forum Tek-Tips in Canada.

Hi xlhelp and thanks for you help! [wink]

I think it must've been something I did at the computer or Windows level, because it's gone this morning when I rebooted.

I'll keep the Repair function in mind though for future SNAFUs

Hey Chris,

I recall something very similar happening to my boss several weeks ago.
The problem was with Excel and with Excel only.
Yet it was a mouse problem:

Did you change the battery on your wireless mouse shortly before that happened?
