Am I outa luck?
I have a Xircom CE3B-100BTX CreditCard adapter (we'll skip the history) that doesn't appear to be compatible with NAI's CBE NIC driver, at least with Sniffer 3.5. It's a nice NIC, and I'd like to keep using it.
The MS/Intel driver seems to work surprisingly well with Sniffer; I get quite detailed error stats; I cen't help wondering what I'm missing. I've seen the Sniffer/Xircom driver list which doesn't appear to include it, though -- but I can't help wondering how different this NIC is from the one(s) that are officially supported.
Tantalizingly, I've found is an old Network Computing article at claiming NAI had a beta version of a driver for the CE3 card.
Am I wasting my time, or what?
