xinetd on hp-ux 11.11

Hi

I need to install xinetd daemon on my HP_UX 11.11 machine.
I downloaded one from hp site but not sure abt that.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you only want xinetd then download Xinetd A.02.00-2.3.12 which is a depot of itself. Say you dump it in....
/tmp

Then test the install

swinstall -s /tmp/ixXinetd_A.02.00_blah_blah -v -p -x autoreboot=true -x autoselect_dependencies=true \*

The -p exits after the analysis phase so you can check /var/adm/sw/swinstall and swagent logs for errors. If all looks good, run the same command again without -p for the real deal.

Remember, Run swverify afterwards.
