I enable the browser add-in in desktop integration, which works fine until I sign out.
When I sign back in I have to re-enable it, should it have saved or is it working as designed?
Thanks
Alan
When you enable the add-in its an extension in your browser which should be enabled whether you are logged in or not to the Avaya softclient. To actually make phone calls from the browser using the extension the Avaya softclient will need to be logged in
First what do you mean by "sign out". How are you leaving the application?
When I don't want IX Workplace running I right click on it in the system tray and select 'Close application', not 'log out'. In account settings I also have remember password selected.
To be honest with you I just shut down my laptop.
Next morning I turn on my laptop IX Workplace logs straight in, but I have enable the browser add-in.
Sounds like the computer IX Workplace is being installed on is using a managed profile which is configured not allow such plugins to be retained on reboot.
Can you install other browser add-ons, and they work as expected on reboot?
Was IX Workplace installed as Administrator?
