XHTML - SHORTTAG YES

Hi,

I am trying to make my XHTML frameset W3C validated.

However, I keep getting the following errors from the validation service:

" the name and VI delimiter can be omitted from an attribute specification only if SHORTTAG YES is specified" and

" end tag for "frame" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified"

I am not sure what these are (I think they are SGML declarations) but I don't know how to set these attributes in the xhtml page frameset declaration.

Any help would be appreciated,
