Hi,

I'm starting to learn XHTML. Anybody know for sure what file extensions you can use with XHTML pages? Can you use ".htm" and/or ".html" extensions or do you have to use ".xhtml" file extensions?

thanks!

You can use either ".htm" or ".html"... Personally, I always use ".html".

It might be possible to use others too, but I don't know any more than the two I've mentioned.

Hope this helps,
Dan

You can actually use any extension you want, but you have to make sure the server sends the right mime type with the response. Most servers are configured by default to send the "text/html" mime type with the extensions BillyRayPreachersSon mentioned, so those should work fine.
