I see Eqeus has announced a new version of XFRX (15.0), which supports a new "plain HTML" output type. If I've understood it correctly, this will output your VFP report as a self-contained HTML page, with the detail band represented by a simple HTML table, AND with each object (textbox, label, etc.) in a separate cell. The output will respect the colours, fonts, borders, etc. in your report (but not images), these being represented by CSS rules (which presumably will be in-line to the HTML rather than in a separate file).

If all this works as advertised, it should be a lot more satisfactory than other methods of outputting HTML, such as hand-coding the HTML and CSS, or using the web publishing wizard with a modified template.

Mike

This seems correlated to me mentioning advanced html properties of VFP9 reports, but still is pure coincidence, I assume.

Bye, Olaf.
