Hi,

First off all, I have already read up on XFORMS, on w3c.org and other resources. I have also briefly tried XFORMS.

When reading about it, I simply love the theory.
When trying it, I became slightly dissapointed!

Why?
Well, Mostly because of browser support or rather lack off.

Yes, there is a formsplayer ( plugin, it's free and you have a mozilla plugin too!

But, what I saw, is that once again there is a problem IE vs. FireFox. Also, I see that the formsplayer gives a popup box sometimes(?).

A popup is for me unacceptable and this is why my question is:
Is really XFORMS for the present, or should we wait untill the support is "boxed" with the browsers?

For my application, I want to use the simplicity of switch in an xml form, which sounds INSANELY sweet!

Switching the form-fields, based on what input you want to gather is simply an amazing concept, it will save huge amounts of resources, also it makes updating way easier.

However, if support is not good and popups are present, I will leave this for the future!

Does anyone have any inputs? Can one configure/remove the popups which the formsplayer sometimes show?

Thank you!
