How does a user transfer a call on his/her set directly to another users voice mail?

Set up an auto attendant which sends people directly into the dialed digits mailbox. Record a short message saying please enter the mailbox number.
User then transfers to the auto attendant, enters the mailbox, and releases the caller into the mailbox.

1)Hit your transfer button and transfer to your voicemail system where you enter your extension and passcode
2)enter the extension and # you want to transfer to
3)enter the sytem guest password and # which is located on display system-parameters features

This will make it go straight into the person's voicemail without their phone ringing.

If you don't use Audix and the vmail system uses the "name" field to route calls.... Create a dummy extension with the extension of the transfered number in the name field. Then transfer to the dummy extension. Works like a charm... The coverage path of the dummy extension needs to go to vmail etc...
