Xerox Work Center M940 problem

I purchased a Xerox M940 3-in-1 Copier-Scanner and printer all in one about 2 years ago.Ran great up to about 2 weeks ago. I was printing a document and noticed the black stopped printing and still had ink in the cartridge. I cleaned the heads and still not any better. I bought new black cartridge and also replaced all the color cartidges at the same time. It still does not print black at all not even a steak or a dot. The colors print great but not black.I contacted Xerox and they told me to clean the heads tap the cartridge ect. I did all of this numerous times, with no avail. Xerox told me they cannot do anything because it is out of warranty. I searched the internet for any technical info and came up empty handed. I did read a post on a forum though saying the 940 has some kind of air pump device to extract the ink through the jets? This was a good printer when it worked right but now all I can do is print everything in color and not black. Any advice would be helpful on these printers....thank-you
