Hi All,

I've now become the proud owner of a xerox 7700. Does anybody know how I can print a full bleed A4 sheet?

Meaning full colour printing right up to the edges without any white border?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi. Laser printers don't print full bleed. The normal way to do this is to make your file larger than your desired output, then print on the larger size (like letter) and trim the printed doc to the desired final size. On a 7700, if you only want one copy at a time, you CAN make your file to a larger size (like letter, or a custom size,) set the media tray to the larger size, and then place your A4 sheet, properly centered, in the tray. The machine will print it full-bleed, but it will then give an error message and tell you to load the proper sized media.

It's easier on the machine (and probably easier on you) to make your file larger, print on larger media, and then trim the print-outs to final size.

Thanks for that advice richdude, appreciate it a lot. Il give that a try today but your right, as I wont realy be doing one offs I was thinking of just investing in a good paper trimmer. My main intention in using the machine is offering short run printing services for leaflets, posters etc so hope it goes well.
