I recently aquired a Xerox 6250 color laser printer. Someone gave it to me because it had a strange problem. It says that the packaging ribbon on the black toner cartridge is still on even though it has been removed already. I'm guessing that the toner is simply not getting through the lines properly. I opened it up and the toner tubes/lines are all in place and appear OK. The toner tray has been replaced and that didn't work. Anyone know what to do? Thanks! The printer works great other than this one small problem so I'd like to be able to fix it.
