Xerox Phaser 3150 Error

I've got a 3150 that when turned on the LED flashes between orange/red and the printer will not operate, the manual states that it's due to an aftermarket toner however the toner is a brand new Xerox brand toner just out of the box. Even if it were an aftermarket toner I should at least be able to get a page or two out of it. Help?

Unfortunatly, Low-lifes will get "New" Xerox boxes to put Reman Actual Xerox cartridges in. The unit is reading the Toner in the assy.Did you purchase from Xerox?
Cost of color printing is high, but repairs are worse!

I've checked with the tech who got the toner and he said it actually came out of a new printer they just took out of the box. And that's a very good point -- just because it's in a new box really doesn't mean that it's actually a good toner, you're absolutely right. I'll check into getting a new toner for it. Thanks!
