We have a Xerox Docuprint N17 network printer that reads Tray1 paper jam everytime we send a print job. I have throughly checked this printer and it does not have a paper jam. I have upgraded the firmware on this printer and still nothing. Could this be a hardware issue?

Xerox N17-Reads Paper Jam

Do you have an envelope tray on it?
We have the Xerox N32 and constantly a tiny, minute piece of paper gets lodged in the A section. Unless you are looking very carefully it gets overlooked. The sensors must be picking it up.
How old is the printer? Can you contact Xerox? They are usually quick on the draw about giving exchanges.
